Protea family with needle like leaves and yellow flowers. Grows naturally on sandy mountain slopes. An interesting and beautiful addition to any garden.
Location: Stellenbosch to Caledon and George to Uniondale.

Cultivated since 1660 as a dense hedge this small tree has leaves in whorls, small white flowers and large attractive fruits. Useful and attractive tree especially for small gardens. Water regularly but feed lightly, for best results use only compost and or fynbos fertilizer.
