Afrikaans: Wilgeboom
Tall growing, larger specimens have drooping branches, leaves lanceolate and bright green, small flowers in short spikes. Prefers a moist full sun to semi shade position. Mulch thickly with good compost, water regularly and feed with high nitrogen organic or chemical fertilizer to boost growth.

Soft, grey foliage, contrasts well with attractive golden brown flowers, loved by sunbirds. An excellent coastal shrub, although it needs little maintenance, the beach salvia responds well to regular pruning, watering and feeding with slow release 3:1:5 chemical or organic fertiliser giving a stunning display in spring and summer. Cut back hard in winter if required.

Small, compact bushes, ±50cm, covered in blue and white flowers. Very attractive, excellent garden subject thrives on full sun, regular feeding, trimming and watering in a well drained position. Almost extinct in nature.
