A small to medium sized tree with shiny elliptic leaves. The powder puff like flowers are folowed by edible, dark purple fruits. Mulch thickly with good compost, water regularly and feed with high nitrogen organic or chemical fertilizer to boost growth.

Attractive shrub or small tree (1-3m) very ornamental with glossy, dark green leaves can be pruned into a ball or lolly pop shape or used as a neat hedge. Fluffy, showy white flowers are produces in branched terminal heads. Plant in well drained, sunny or semi shade position. Feed and water rugularly for optimal results.
