Afrikaans: Wilgeboom
Tall growing, larger specimens have drooping branches, leaves lanceolate and bright green, small flowers in short spikes. Prefers a moist full sun to semi shade position. Mulch thickly with good compost, water regularly and feed with high nitrogen organic or chemical fertilizer to boost growth.

Aromatic shrub to ±2,5m, violet flowers for most of the year. Does well in full sun, well-drained position. Feed regularly and prune as required. Can resprout from ground level.
Location: Gifberg to Montague, Peninsula, Caledon and the E. Cape.
