Ochna arborea

Beautiful tree with shiny leaves, bright yellow flowers, interesting fruit. The bark which is attractively mottled with patches of grey, cream, mauve and pink. Mulch thickly with good compost, water regularly and feed with high nitrogen organic or chemical fertilizer to boost growth. Plant in well drained sunny position in rich loamy medium and prune to shape.
