Jasminum angulare

Family: OLEACEAE

Beautiful climber often covered in clouds of fragrant white flowers, can be used as a ground cover, in a shrub border or up pergolas and fences. Fairly drought resistant but benefits from the occasional application of rich compost or 3:1:5 fertilizer and water during the growing season.

Location: E. Cape to KZN and Mphumalanga.

Glaucous shrub with thick leathery leaves and large scented flowers in summer. Excellent ground cover for large areas, particularly good in harsh coastal conditions can be pruned to form a shrub. Trim to encourage more flowering shoots and feed and water regularly for best results.

Jasminum multipartitum 'Bush Form'

Stunningly beautiful, this scented Jasmine bears large white-tinged pink flowers in large trusses. Trim into a shrub or train up fence or trellis. Grow in full sun in well-drained, compost-rich soil. Tough and quite drought resistant it thrives from regular feeding and water during the growing season.

Jasminum multipartitum 'Creeping Form'

Family: OLEACEAE

This form is preferable for training over fences, pergolas, car-ports, etc. as it has a much faster growing, more lax habit. Grow in full sun, in well-drained compost-rich soil. Prune after flowering to keep neat.
