Afrikaans: Boesmansgif
English: Poison Bush
This plant is poisonous, so it should be planted with caution! Fortunately, it is not very palatable. It makes a strikingly beautiful shrub with angular, dark green, sometimes bronze/purple foliage and attractive, sweet-smelling white flowers and large red fruits. It is a good shade plant. Prune off lower branches to form single stemmed tree or trim all round to form a neat large shrub, feed and water regularly in the growing season.
